The Ultimate Rogov's guide to Israeli wines
My Annual Visit With Tasting NotesPelter, Cabernet Franc, T-Selection, 2009 (Barrel Tasting): Dark ruby toward garnet, full-bodied with still firm tannins that need time to integrate. On the nose black fruits and freshly tanned leather, and on the palate currants, freshly picked Mediterranean herbs and earthy minerals. Even now showing fine depth and length. This one will be approachable on release but best only from 2013-2019, perhaps longer. Tentative Score 92-94.

Pelter most definitely earns its place as one of the 10 best wineries in Israel.
